As a multi-racial Asian human, Lunar New Year has been a holiday that was always like a North Star to my Asianness. This LNY of the rabbit reminds me of family, of the rituals and traditions that flow throughout my maternal grandparents' cozy Brooklyn apartment. Playing mahjong was one of many things that nourished my sense of self during this holiday.
